Developed For Hair Extensions

Overtime your extensions will become increasingly dry and damaged as you style them and expose them to the elements. Also, your extensions will not receive the oils and nutrients from your scalp that they need to stay healthy. The Cuticle Lisse hair care line was designed to keep your extensions healthy and provide them with the essential oils and nutrients that they need.

Washing Your Extensions

It is recommended to use a sulfate free PH balanced moisturizing shampoo on your extension hair.  Sulfate is added to a lot of shampoos because of its ability to separate dirt and oil from your hair. But what this actually does is strip your extension hair of the natural oils and proteins that keep your hair healthy!

It is also recommended that you wash your hair and extensions 1 to 2 times a week to keep the hair clean. Make sure you wash your hair right after the jacuzzi or exercise.

If you have curly hair we recommend you use the Keratin Shampoo. If you have fine or oily hair we recommend you use our Botanical Hydrating Shampoo.

Conditioning Your Extensions

Conditioning the extension hair is vital to its maintenance. Because the extensions do not receive nutrients and oils from the scalp you need to make sure that you are using conditioners that contain key hydrating ingredients and don’t have damage causing ingredients like parabens or sulfates.

We recommend our Silk Smoothing Conditioner to most of our clients.  This deep penetrating conditioner is infused with silk proteins and natural botanical extracts to rebuild damaged and chemically treated hair in just 60 seconds! It will also strengthen, adds shine and revitalize stressed hair.

We also have our Keratin Conditioner for women with extra dry and curly hair. This is another daily conditioner and is infused with Keratin, which helps to seal the cuticle and reduce frizz, leaving it smooth and shiny.

Deep Conditioning Your Extensions

In addition to regular conditioning, we also recommend you use a deep conditioning treatment on your extensions about once a week or once every other week depending on how oily your natural hair is.

We carry a couple of deep conditioning products that we recommend to all our clients. The first, and most popular, is our  Cuticle Lisse Argan Oil Deep Conditioning MasqueThis intense treatment is enriched with shea butter and moroccan argan oil. These two key ingredients penetrate the cuticle to rebuild strength, restore elasticity and hydrate dry or damaged hair. This masque is meant to be used every couple of weeks.

Our other deep conditioning treatment is our Soothing Leave In Therapy Conditioner. You will want to use our leave in therapy every time you wash your hair. Use the therapy on the ends of the hair and work up until you reach the point where hair is not damaged. We recommend using fit from the top of your ponytail and down.

The Finishing Touches

Now that you have washed and conditioned your hair it’s time to move onto the final steps.

All these products were designed specifically to prolong the healthy and beauty of your hair extensions.
